Blue Lagoon Bar – Mini Pattaya, Whites Sands. Nige is a very friendly host here with a whole bunch of hostess’s to take care of you. 2 large screen TV’s showing sports and a pool table.


Apres Bar – Mini Pattaya, White Sands. Derrick and Cat will welcome and entertain you here, along with a group of charming hostess’s. 2 pool tables and a fun place to have a few drinks.


The White Elephant – White Sands Hill. A very western style, large sports bar/restaurant. A truly massive selection of beers and ciders. Plenty of large TV’s showing most sporting events. A good menu with pleasant staff providing western kind of service. Also have an A/C dining room and an all you can eat Sunday buffet lunch for 249 baht!


15 Palms – White Sands. One of the longest established bars/restaurants on the island. A good selection of western and Thai food that you can either eat in the restaurant or on their beach front with great views and spectacular sunsets.


Monkeys Restaurant – White Sands. Monkey Mick will take care of you here, where you will find your full English pub style menu. Good food in a nice western style atmosphere. A popular light hearted quiz night is held on Friday evenings with prizes.


Home Bar – White Sands Hill. Just like t says on the tin. Steve and Kung will welcome you to a very homely feeling bar and restaurant. They have some great homemade food and daily specials. Also have some comfortable and reasonable priced rooms.


Max’s Bistro – Chi Chet. You will find Max to be one of the best chef’s on the island. Almost everything on the menu is home made. All you can eat Italian buffet on Tuesday evening for 200 baht and all you can eat BBQ buffet on Friday evening for 300baht. WARNING; if you go to a buffet evening, make sure you are hungry!


Jimmy’s Bar – Chi Chet. Ran by Maurice, a very cheeky and fun loving Dutch guy. A bar favoured by expats who live here.


Annie P’s Restaurant – Klong Prao. This is the place to be for tex/mex and American style of homemade food. A limited, but interesting menu. All the menu is very reasonably priced. The pulled pork is to die for.


Nana Bar – Chi Chet. Here you will meet a whole gaggle of hostess’s. It is a good bar if you feel like a little partying and high jinx!


Velcomming Bar – Chi Chet. Kai and her team of lovely hostess’s will take care of you here. A basic bar with a pool table. There is ‘Klung’s’ Restaurant just across the road where you can order in Velcomming bar and Klung delivers. This is real thai food at its best whilst sat in a fun bar.


KC Bar – Chi Chet. This is a kick back and chill out bar. No hostess’s, just Brad and his mostly American blues/rock music. Most guys go to this bar to escape the “hello welcome” of hostess bars and swap banter with Brad. This is a popular bar with expats who live here.


Crust Bakery – Klong Prao. A lot of freshly baked products you would find at home. Eat in or take away.


Sky Bar – Kai bai, walking Street. A friendly atmosphere, with a free choice of music via the internet.


White Sands publications – Pearl beach, next to post office. Take a look at Koh Chang guide online. It is the most useful read you will get about Koh Chang.
